Ride for Baby Harith A.

Most moms would go crazy about stroller but not me! Hehe. Me & hubby decided not to buy stroller until baby is born. Alhamdulillah, my sister-in-law has always been very helpful and generous to lend us her extra buggy (Quinny Zapp) and a carrier (MaxiCosi) as both are not in use any longer.

When Harith turned into 5 months, I was thinking of getting him a buggy that fits into small car like mine and hubby’s car. Our car boot is not so suitable to accommodate huge wide buggy. Hence, hunt for light, compact, easy and practical buggy for us begun!

At first, I thought of Maclaren buggy. It is umbrella fold, light and seems comfortable for baby. Many buggies I found in malls are mostly Maclaren. There was a Baby Expo in PWTC last month, hubby went with Aii. Aii bought a Maclaren Techno buggy and hubby told me it does not fit into the car boot! Height measurement is very long for the car boot. Sigh, I got to say no to Maclaren. Me and hubby went to MidValley, we were viewing Quinny Zapp Xtra and Inglesina. I still found that Quinny and Inglesina are huge and heavy. It is not very practical for me. Hubby likes the Inglesina.

Then, I randomly google for the most light and compact stroller. I found it! I found it! It is Babyzen Yoyo yawwww! It is very small and compact when folded, very light you can carry like a handbag and it easily fits into the aircraft cabin! Most importantly, it fits perfectly in our car boot and very very space saving!

hush-keeper

i wish i have someone who i can tell everything

who would that be? other than Him...
i do need one.

Still There

It is hard to erase
It is hard to let go
It is hard to forget
It is hard to confiscate

Absence Love Fonder

Hi. Hubby went to Houston, TX last Tuesday, departed at 2am. We were hardly, hardly ever been separated this far and for long. Likewise, being in other continent, other part of the world where hour is a day later than Malaysia. Last time we separated when he went to Europe for about a month holiday. Now, after being married and having a cute little boy, things getting sadder than ever. Though he only goes there for 10 days. I miss him. I guess Harith is missing his daddy too.

Breastfeeding or Formula.

I think many people (ladies, mom-to-be) aware that breastmilk is the best for baby age 0-6 months. I really salute those mothers out there who able to breastfeed exclusively to their baby, moreover until 2 years old or more. Those mothers I believe they are very very fortunate ones, amazing really. Sadly, I was not very fortunate. I was able to breastfeed Harith until about 1 1/2 months. I believe I had done everything I could to enhance my breastmilk production. Name it.. eat mi sua, white radish, spinach, supplements and what not. I even did the exclusive pumping which is to pump out the milk for every 10 mins within 2 hours. Xde rezeki. Milks became very little.

But moms out there (who breastfeed exclusively), please don't judge! Seriously, DO NOT JUDGE. Not all moms are very lucky. Formula milk isn't really bad at all if you can find the one that fits your baby. It does make your baby a human after all. I grew up on formula milk too as I and my twin were premature babies. Alhamdulillah we are good now, agree? Harith's first formula milk is Enfalac A+ which he has it until now. No change ever since. Who thinks I was not depressed and shattered that I was not able to breastfeed Harith anymore? My eyes were full of tears during my confinement period (it is really not good to cry during confinement). I had made my preparations for that matter. Some may experience the postnatal depression which worsen the problem. I went through this stage after I gave birth to Harith. It wasn't that easy for me regrettably. Harith is a big baby! Nevertheless, I was very grateful to Allah despite I was having a big baby who was not very easy to come out, He gave me the courage to give birth naturally (I almost went for operation).

InsyaAllah, I really hope to be able to breastfeed my 2nd baby (maybe another 2-3 years).

Planning Aqiqah

Me & hubby are planning for Harith aqiqah which to be held soon. Most prolly in May. For door gift selections, as always Hubby will let me decide. Hence i've decided to give a pack of Yasin......and maybe a pack of apam polkadot with choc/nutella filling (still thinking)! It feels like preparing a wedding again...i'm gonna order Yasin from Onie, together with the paperbag n sticker. I like her creativity n artworks! She knows whats best n can give u a very good suggestion. Plus plus, she gives the best price in town with an A+ quality!!! Some may find she's difficult to deal with, but so far I have no problem with her. Below are door gift designs I preferred for Harith's aqiqah. Perfect! ;)

Harith 1st Day in Nursery

Woke up very early this morning at 5.15 a.m. Harith already woke up for milk. Mom helped me to feed Harith while I headed for shower. His necessities were packed a night before. (eyes filled with tears while packing)

SERIOUSLY, NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE HOW DEVASTATED I AM TODAY.
I was crying from my house until I reached the nursery. Harith slept once we got into the car. He was still sleeping when I put him down on his mattress in the nursery. Me was sobbing.

Baby's face is sooo innocent. Harith knows nothing. Kesian dia. Less attention after this. No more full attention from his grandma. My mom had been taking care of Harith a month before. She was crying too when she fed milk to Harith this morning.

I pray to Allah to protect my son Harith Arsyad from harmful/injurious. I pray to Allah may Harith will be fine by his own in the nursery with the babysitter. I pray to Allah may the babysitter/caretaker will take a very good care of Harith like most moms do.

Mama loves you Harith. You're more than a world to me. I miss you already.

Ya Allah, give me courage to endure this grief. Stay strong Zareina!
